When asked about how she sees the two in the current series, VivziePop thinks that Alastor and Mimzy may have known each other in their living lives (although whether they ever had the chance to meet in person given their separate geographical locations is unclear). This element of their dynamic has since been moved on from, with Alastor being re-written as uninterested in all forms of romance. During Mimzy's development, across Zoophobia and early drafts of Hazbin Hotel, she was "head over heels in love" with Alastor and early illustrations depicted the two in what appeared to be a romantic relationship.Faustisse does not believe that Mimzy and Niffty are best friends, but thinks they get along.In several of VivziePop's development illustrations, it appears as though Mimzy and Niffty might have something of a friendship, although it is unclear if their relationship is planned to become a feature of the show.Faustisse notes that Mimzy is materialistic.VivziePop has described Mimzy as "trashy Betty Boop" and says she is excited to get the character on the show, as Alastor finds her incredibly charming and fun, while she is "absolutely terrible" to everyone else, causing them to all dislike her.VivziePop envisions Mimzy as having a heavy Brooklyn-accent, similar to Adelaide from the musical Guys and Dolls and Roxie Hart from Chicago.She also said she's an easier character to write stories for than Crymini or Baxter. When asked if Mimzy was planned to be a main character, Vivziepop said that when she joins, she's likely to be more central than Baxter or Crymini.During 2017 development streams for the pilot, VivziePop noted that Mimzy's entrance into the show was planned to mark a "turning point" in the season.Although the full extent of Mimzy's role in the series is currently unknown, she does make a brief cameo appearance in the musical number " Inside of Every Demon is a Rainbow", in the pilot episode, " That's Entertainment".Faustisse described Mimzy as being a Hollywood star during her living life. ![]() Mimzy's name is a nonce-word, created by author Lewis Carroll, which means 'a blend of miserable and flimsy'.She has also been described as larger than life, ambitious, determined, insecure, sad, depressed, and consumed by the need to be famous. She appears to conflict with other strong personalities. Mimzy is a bratty, materialistic diva, who appears to have many self-centered traits that the people around her react strongly to. She wears black heeled shoes and accessorizes with dark-pink opera gloves and a black pearl necklace that features a pink gem in the middle. ![]() She wears a typical 1920s-style flapper dress in magenta shades, along with a dark pink headband, decorated with a large dark pink feather. She has sharp teeth and bright pink lipstick. Her sclera is black, with bright pink eyes and bushy, magenta eyelashes. Her platinum blonde hair is in a short 1920s-style bobcut. Mimzy is a short, curvy, pale-skinned woman with thick thighs, wide hips, and plump breasts. ![]()
